⭐ROOFING SHEET METAL INSTALLER / GUTTER TECHNICIAN⭐
Monterey Peninsula Sheet Metal & Heating is looking to add an experienced Roofing Sheet Metal Installer / Gutter Technician to our growing team. We are looking for someone with experience in architectural sheet metal, gutters, downspouts, flashings and waterproofing details for high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the Monterey Peninsula.
Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and install gutters, downspouts, collector boxes, scuppers, and roof drainage systems
• Install architectural sheet metal including flashings, coping caps, gravel stop, chimney caps, crickets, valleys, and custom metal details
• Work with copper, galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and lead-coated materials
• Read plans, elevations, and roof layouts
• Measure and fabricate materials accurately in the shop and field
• Install roof edge metal, wall flashings, skylight flashings, and waterproofing transitions
• Safely work on ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and steep-slope roofs
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with foremen, project managers, and customers
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in roofing sheet metal, gutters, or architectural sheet metal preferred
• Experience with half-round gutters, box gutters, custom downspouts, and soldering is a plus
• Ability to fabricate and install independently
• Knowledge of waterproofing and proper drainage practices
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Valid California driver’s license preferred
Preferred Experience:
• Copper roofing and flashing systems
• Soldering and custom fabrication
• Standing seam and roof edge systems
• Historic and high-end custom home work
• Boom lift and scaffold experience
• Ability to lead a small crew or train apprentices

We are looking for an experienced HVAC technician who takes pride in their work, can lead a crew, run projects, and deliver high-quality installations and service.
Our company specializes in high-end residential, custom homes, retrofit projects, light commercial work, and Mitsubishi heat pump systems throughout the Monterey Peninsula.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Mitsubishi heat pumps
• Experience with Bryant heating and cooling systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/plans
• Ability to run jobs from start to finish
• Leadership skills and ability to manage/install with a crew
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Clean and organized workmanship
• Good communication with customers and team members
• EPA Certification preferred
• Valid California driver’s license
• Must be dependable, motivated, and professional
Responsibilities:
• Install and service ducted and ductless HVAC systems
• Lead crews on residential and commercial projects
• Read plans and coordinate field installation
• Communicate with office staff and project managers
• Maintain clean job sites and company standards
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems efficiently
• Train and help develop younger technicians
